Project Reveal: Modern Design-Build in Westport, MA

Our clients, Rebecca & Ashley had just purchased a small cottage on Watuppa Pond in Westport, MA. They approached us because they liked our design aesthetic & that our services included both interior design and Construction. Their goal for this project was to update the home and add modern amenities to utilize as their vacation home. What started out as a Renovation quickly turned into a complete tear down & rebuild.

Our Professional, Perfected Process 

Our process always begins with the planning phase. We do exploratory work to see what is possible and to come up with a plan our clients with love. During the exploratory phase, we learned the bones of the cottage were not stable & it made sense to explore the option of tearing it down & starting fresh. We created a new plan, compared the costs & began planning for a new construction project.

Our Custom, Completed Creation 

The final design included the same original footprint of the home with an additional level doubling the living space. Our favorite part of the finished product was the view. Raising the home and adding sliders to both levels enhanced the beautiful views overlooking the pond.
