At Ironwood Studio, Our goal is to make the Design-Build Process an enjoyable experience for our clients. Having a clear and streamlined process is a huge part of how we achieve that. In order to best serve our clients we offer fixed fee design proposals in three distinct phases starting with: The Consultation.

With hundreds of decisions that need to be made before framing even begins, it's important to protect your investment & get it right the first time to minimize change-orders and costly mistakes. The ONLY way to get a Fixed Investment Estimate for your Dream Home is to have all the decisions made prior to even hiring a Builder.
From floorplans to furnishings, we'll tend to every detail of your new home. Through our process, we'll guide you through the many decisions and details that accompany a new build, providing a smooth and enjoyable experience. Our Construction expertise will ensure you take advantage of our preferred partners and have access to the best materials, leaving you with a finished product that will last for generations.

Our Signature Process
Project & Design Consultation
I.
During our consultation meeting we will take a deep dive into your aesthetic, wish list for your project, and timeline. After you fill out the contact form on our website, we will schedule a phone call to discuss your project and design scope. We’ll walk you through our design process and, if we are a good fit for your project, we will schedule an in-person meeting.

Flat Fee Design Proposal
After the consultation, we will send you a proposal with a detailed description of your scope, our estimated design fee and materials investment for interior furnishings, and estimated cost for your renovation or new build (if not provided by your builder). Once we agree on an estimated budget, we will move onto the next step.
Conceptual Design

Once the proposal is approved, we jump right into floor plans and finish selections, such as tile, cabinetry, countertops, and lighting. If this is a large-scale interior furnishings project, we would also jump into furniture selections. Once we have a good idea of the direction, we would schedule a meeting to review the key elements.
IV.
Trade Day
Once we have finished your design plan, an organized meeting with the Trades allows us to introduce all the detailed specifications and selections for your project to eliminate any allowances in their budget. This ensures accurate proposals for a realistic investment estimate.
Presentation
V.
Once we have received all of the Construction proposals, we will schedule a presentation that will include floorplans, renderings, elevations, finish samples and a full itemized investment estimate for your project.
Ordering
VI.
After you have approved all items, we will order and store at our warehouse. You will be sent bi-weekly updates from your project manager until we are ready for installation.
Project Management
VII.
We oversee the entire project from beginning to end so no details are overlooked or missed.
Install
VIII.
Once all items have been received and inspected, we install everything in your home. We will give you the dramatic reveal day that we have all been anticipating since our first meeting together.
